AltiSys hardware products are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship. If AltiSys receives notice of such defects during the warranty period, AltiSys shall, at its option, either repair or replace hardware products that prove to be defective.

1. DURATION AND COMMENCEMENT OF WARRANTY PERIOD:
   The warranty period for each hardware product is one year from date of delivery. After one year, manufacturer’s warranty applies.
    
2. For product warranties requiring return to AltiSys, buyer shall prepay shipping charges (and shall pay all applicable duties, taxes, and other such charges) for products returned to AltiSys for warranty service. Except for products returned to buyer from a country other than the United States or Canada, AltiSys shall pay for return of products to buyer.
    
3. LIMITATION OF WARRANTY
   The foregoing warranty shall not apply to defects resulting from:
   1. Improper or inadequate maintenance by buyer;
   2. Buyer-supplied software or interfacing;
   3. Unauthorized modification or misuse;
   4. Operation outside of the environmental specifications for the product; or
   5. Improper site preparation and maintenance.

THE WARRANTY SET FORTH ABOVE IS EXCLUSIVE AND NO OTHER WARRANTY, WHETHER WRITTEN OR ORAL, IS EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. AltiSys SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
