Q. OFFICE3 server froze. No POST, no beep, no display. What can I do?

Answer
Please check the CPU fan first. If it is defective, your server would freeze and become non-responding.If your server has a PCA-6186 SBC installed, it is possible that the server will no longer boot up even if you have replace the CPU fan. In such a case, there is no beep or display on the monitor when you power on the server.
There is a good chance that the PCA-6186 SBC is simply in a “confused” state and it can be recovered by clearing the CMOS.
To erase CMOS data and reset the system BIOS information, set J1 to 1-2 closed for just a few seconds, and then remove the jumper to leave pin 1 and pin 2 open.
If the above procedure does not resolve the problem, you may have to replace the SBC.
